R M Brown – Insurance Broker was founded on 24 December 1978 as independent insurance brokers by owner Mr Richard Brown.

 

Prior to founding the firm he had worked in accountancy and then for 2 major insurance companies and for an international firm of Lloyd’s insurance brokers.

 

In those days the words “insurance broker” usually meant that the firm also did independent financial advice and mortgage broking too.  That certainly saved the long job description we have to give today!

 

In the Spring of 1988, to facilitate regulation by a fore-runner of the FSA, independent financial advice was moved to our company Moneynotion Limited.

 

Today the firm represents clients all over the World, mainly small to medium sized businesses, property owners and private individuals.  We are proud to be able to say that those clients who have been loyal over the years have either made, or saved, a great deal of money over what they would have achieved by themselves.
